October Blog | 2012
October already, the winter season isn’t far away but with the awesome weather we have been having down here in the Lower Mainland it’s hard to believe snow may be just around the corner. Many a day at the SPS farm has been cut short for a couple hot laps around our new MX test track out back. But alas, we are ready for the white stuff and excited for the 2012/2013 winter season to arrive.
We have had a ton of compliments on our new website and 2012/13 Catalog this past month and even more on our new Butter, City Streets, Tubby Tube and Wall Series additions. We are super stoked that everything has been so well received and can’t wait to see these new products pop up at resorts and ski areas all over.
Our new SPS tools are almost complete and should be available around mid October. These tools were designed with the collective input of several terrain park managers and their staff from a wide assortment of snow conditions so you can be assured that they will work awesome in any environment. We are planning to start with some basic tools, a rake/shovel combo and a jump/pipe shaping shovel and then add more as the season continues. Keep your eye on our website and our Facebook page for further details.
Something else we have been working extremely hard at is our new SPS terrain park consulting group. We are still hammering out the final details and should hopefully have our program put together soon. If your resort or event is in need of terrain park staff education or course design/construction our new service will definitely be something you will want to check out. Our goal is to provide a quality, affordable and truly beneficial service that will take you through every step of the terrain park process without the attitude and ego other similar services have become known for. Once again stay tuned to the website and our Facebook page to learn more.
Well that’s about it for now, its time to head back down to the SPS farm and continue tooling up more features….and maybe sneak a few more laps on the track in!
